USA Masters 5 km Championships: For the sixth consecutive year, we're delighted to be hosting runners from throughout the United States competing in the USA Masters 5 km Championships. The Masters Championships will be run concurrently with the 21st anniversary edition of our Men's 5K (8:50 a.m. start) and Women's 5K (9:50 a.m. start) races.

3K Fun & Fitness Run School Group Shirt and Number Pickup: School group coordinators may turn in entries and pick up bib numbers and T-shirts for their groups at 213 Scott Avenue between 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 26th.

Our Race Headquarters Hotel: We're delighted to have The Maplewood Inn, 400 Seventh North Street, Liverpool, NY 13088, as our 2013 race headquarters hotel. Conveniently located near the intersection of I-81 and I-90, The Maplewood Inn offers our visiting runners and walkers convenient proximity to both the airport and the race site.

Even better for our many out-of-town participants, the Maplewood Inn is offering an outstanding SFoR rate of $85 per night (plus tax) for single, double, or triple occupancy. All room reservations should be made by telephone at either 315-451-1511 or 866-318-9937. To receive the specially discounted rate when you call, please be sure to mention the Syracuse Festival of Races and Group Code 5547.

Packet Pickup & Late Registration at the Dick's Sporting Goods in Destiny USA: Pre-registered runners can pick up their bib numbers and T-shirts on Saturday, October 5th, from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the Dick's Sporting Goods in Destiny USA. Packets not picked up on Saturday may be picked up at the race site beginning at 7:30 a.m. on race morning. For early pick-up and the best selection of shirt sizes, come on Saturday!

Runners can enter at the Saturday pickup as well as on the morning of the race. 5K entry is $30 on Saturday and $35 on race morning. The entry fee for either the Fun & Fitness Run or the Community Walk is $15.00 on race weekend, regardless of your age.

Visiting Athlete Hospitality: The Syracuse Chargers Track Club will be hosting a hospitality room for out-of-town USATF Masters Championship entrants staying at the Maplewood Inn. The hospitality room will be open from Friday afternoon through Sunday at noon, and it will be your most convenient source of complimentary beverages, snacks, directions, general information, course tour sign-up, and transportation to and from the race site.

For the convenience of all runners staying at our race headquarters hotel, packets for USA Masters 5 km Championship entrants (only) will be available for pickup in the Chargers Hospitality Suite on Saturday, October 5th, between 3:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.

SOSPlus Wellness Way Expo: Race morning activities in the start/finish area will include our Wellness Way Expo, providing information about a wide range of products, services, and organizations related to personal health and wellness. SFoR participants, spectators, and volunteers are invited to stroll Wellness Way outside Manley Field House before and after their events on race morning. Tops Friendly Markets Community Walk Pledge Drop-Off: Individuals and groups with donations in cash or check for any of our participating beneficiaries can drop off their pledge envelopes and pledge forms on race morning in the registration tent, with a representative of Dermody, Burke, & Brown, CPAs, LLC.

National Championship Awards Presentation & Brunch: All 2013 USA Masters 5 km Championship awards will be presented beginning at 12:30 p.m. on race day at our race headquarters hotel. Admission to the 2013 USA Masters 5 km Championship Awards Presentation is free for all Syracuse Festival of Races participants and their guests.

In conjunction with the Awards Presentation at The Maplewood Inn, a hearty buffet brunch will be available beginning at noon and extending through the Awards Presentation. Anyone wishing to enjoy the Awards Brunch along with the Awards Presentation may purchase Brunch tickets in advance via the USA Masters 5 km Championship registration page. Our 2013 Awards Brunch is sponsored by the Syracuse Chargers Track Club, permitting us to offer the price to $10.00 for anyone entered in the 2013 USA Masters 5 km Championships, and $15 for their guests.

Depending upon available space, a very limited number of Awards Brunch access tickets may also be available for purchase at the door. We expect another packed room this year.
